King Barrow, Dorset
King Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Studland, Dorset. It is situated on a north facing terrace of the lower slope of Ballard Down within the Isle of Purbeck, overlooking Studland Bay to the north-east. The barrow has a mound composed of earth, flint and chalk with a maximum diameter of 50ft and a maximum height of about 3ft. This is surrounded by a ditch from which material was quarried during the construction of the monument. It is within the council area of Dorset.
