Kinallen, Down

Kinallen is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Kinallen, in the civil parish of Dromore. The village developed at a crossroads, where the Banbridge-Dromara and Lisburn-Katesbridge roads meet. Although Kinallen Post Office opened in the mid 19th century and Kinallen Orange Hall dates from 1894, a nucleated settlement around the crossroads was only developed from the mid 20th century. Kinallen Mission Hall was erected in 1979. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
