Kilsyth, Stirlingshire
Kilsyth is a town in Stirlingshire, occupies a narrow strip of land between the Kilsyth Hills to the north and the River Kelvin to the south. Townhead reservoir, known locally as Banton Loch, is the site of the Battle of Kilsyth. The town is within the council area of North Lanarkshire.
