Killinchy, Down

Killinchy is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Killinchy, in the civil parish of Killinchy. Killinchy Parish Church (C of I) dates from 1830 and stands on the top of Church Hill overlooking Strangford Lough. A church has stood on the site since at least as early as 1306. The church hosts the Livingstone Centre which tells the transatlantic story of the Reverend John Livingston, the first Protestant rector of Killinchy, and his family. The village is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
