Kilclief, Down

Kilclief is a hamlet in County Down. It is within the townland of Kilclief, in the civil parish of Kilclief. Kilclief is a dispersed settlement within Kilcleif townland, with dwellings lying along the Shore Road and about the parish church and the ruined Kilclief Castle. Kilclief Parish Church (C of I) dates from 1839. The old church on this site was in ruins in 1622. The hamlet is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
