Keady, Armagh
Keady is a small town, lying on the River Clea in County Armagh. It is within the townlands of Crossmore, Racarbry and Cargaclogher, in the civil parish of Keady. Though Keady is first recorded in 1674, it grew to prominence as a centre of the linen trade from the mid 18th century. St Patrick's Church (RC) was built in 1860. The town is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
