Ilmington, Warwickshire

Ilmington is a village in Warwickshire, in the north of the Cotswolds. The 12th-century church of St Mary the Virgin has pulpit and pews carved by Robert “Mousey” Thompson with his signature carved mice. Ilmington Apple Day is a popular celebration of the small orchards of the village, based upon the embroidered Apple Map in the parish church. The village is within the council area of Stratford-on-Avon (Warwickshire).
