Huntington Castle, Herefordshire
Huntington Castle is the remains of a mediæval castle to the north of the village of Huntington, Herefordshire. The castle site occupies a commanding position on the border with Radnorshire. The castle may have been built as the successor to Kington Castle which was probably destroyed in 1216. It was in ruins by the time of the Civil War. Only the earthworks and some portions of stonework now remain. It is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
