Hundatora, Devon

Hundatora is a monument which comprises a prehistoric hut circle settlement and two abandoned mediæval settlements situated on the upper slopes of Hound Tor in Devon. The stone hut circle settlement includes at least eight huts and two enclosures, along with an extensive field system. The mediæval hamlet of Houndtor, believed to have been abandoned in the 14th century, includes four longhouses, three corn driers and four barns. A mediæval farmstead lay the north of the village. The site is within the council area of Teignbridge (Devon).
