Howe Hill, Lincolnshire
Howe Hill is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Wootton, Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey. It is situated on a prominent natural knoll, and is a dominant feature in the surrounding flat landscape. The barrow mound is constructed from chalk rubble and earth. Although it would originally have been circular, ploughing has given it a sub-rectangular shape of about 36ft by 55ft wide and 7ft high. It is within the council area of North Lincolnshire.
