How Tallon, Yorkshire
How Tallon is a prehistoric round barrow situated on Barningham Moor, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. It lies at the conjunction of three stone field walls which encroach onto the monument. The mound, now largely grassed over, rises to a maximum height of 7ft and has an overall diameter of 50ft. Excavations in 1897 found a total of five burials. The monument is within the council area of County Durham.
