Horsforth is a town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. It is contiguous with the urban spread around Leeds. Horsforth was an agricultural village until the mid 19th century, after which it grew alongside the growth of Leeds. The town has a large number of sandstone buildings sourced from local quarries. The town is within the council area of Bradford.
