Horfield, Gloucestershire

Horfield is a former village that is now suburb in the north of Bristol, Gloucestershire. The area was developed from the late 19th century. The Church of the Holy Trinity with St Edmund has a 15th-century tower, though there is believed to have been a church on the site since Saxon times. The film start Cary Grant (Archibald Leach) was born (1904) and brought up in Horfield. It is within the council area of Bristol.
