Horbury, Yorkshire
Horbury is a town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. Formerly an industrial town, based on woollens, engineering and building wagons for the railways, the town is now largely residential and retail. Stan Barstow, author of A Kind of Loving, was born in Horbury. The town is within the council area of Wakefield.
