Honor Oak, Kent / Surrey
Honor Oak is a suburban area between Nunhead and Forest Hill, lying partly in Surrey and partly in Kent. Its name derives from the Oak of Honor, a tree on the hill which marked the southern boundary of the Norman Honour of Gloucester and which lies on the Surrey / Kent border. Honor Oak is within the council areas of Southwark and Lewisham.
