Holy Trinity Church, Antrim

Holy Trinity Church (C of I) is a mid 18th-century neo-classical church on the Diamond in Ballycastle, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Town Parks, in the civil parish of Romoan. The church was built by Colonel Hugh Boyd, after he had purchased the estate and village of Ballycastle in 1727 from the Earl of Antrim. The church was consecrated in 1756. Boyd is buried in the crypt. The church is four bays long, with a western tower and octagonal spire and an eastern apse. It has a slated roof and an entrance façade dressed with ashlar sandstone. It is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
