Holt Bridge, Denbighshire / Cheshire
Holt Bridge is a mediæval road bridge across the River Dee linking Holt, Denbighshire with Farndon, Cheshire. Built of local red sandstone, the bridge has are 8 segmental arches across the river. The present bridge may date from the 15th or 16th century, though a stone bridge was present on the site from the 12th century. The bridge is within the council areas of Wrexham and Cheshire West and Chester.
