Hollinwood, Lancashire

Hollinwood is an urban area, partly in Chadderton and and partly in Oldham, in Lancashire. Once a moor on the borders of Chadderton and Oldham townships, in the late 18th century Hollinwood developed as a village. Its identity as lying partly in each town continues to the present day. It is within the council area of Oldham.
