Hollingworth, Lancashire
Hollingworth is a suburb of Littleborough, Lancashire. It developed during the 19th century as a tourist resort along the western shore of Hollingworth Lake. It is now contiguous with the Littleborough suburb of Smithy Bridge. The older settlement to the east of the lake, now known as Hollingworth Fold, was previously known as Hollingworth. Hollingworth is within the council area of Rochdale.
