Hollingwood, Derbyshire

Hollingwood is a suburban village in Derbyshire. Hollingwood was originally built around 1900 when the Staveley Coal and Iron Company built homes here for its workers. A large estate was built to the south of this in the mid 20th century and this estate effectively is Hollingwood now, the original village having been demolished. It is within the council area of Chesterfield (Derbyshire).
