Hinchingbrooke House, Huntingdonshire
Hinchingbrooke House is a 16th-century stately home in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire. The house was built around an 11th-century Benedictine nunnery, which passed to Richard Williams (Thomas Cromwell's nephew) in 1538. Between then and 1627 the house was largely rebuilt and extended by the Cromwells. In 1970 it became part of Hinchingbrooke School. It is within the council area of Huntingdonshire (Cambridgeshire).
