Hill and Cakemore, Worcestershire

Hill and Cakemore is an urban area to the south of Blackheath in Worcestershire. The civil parish of Hill and Cakemore was created in 1919 by merging the parishes of Hill and Cakemore. The name became associated with the 20th century urban development to the south of Blackheath and is still used in that context, even though the civil parish has been abolished. The area is within the council area of Dudley.
