Hilderthorpe, Yorkshire
Hilderthorpe is an urban area in Bridlington, Yorkshire, in the East Riding. The original Hilderthorpe is a deserted mediæval village at the south end of the urban area which today bears the name. The mediæval earthwork remains survive in excellent condition and include a considerable portion of the original features of the settlement, including crofts and house platforms along street lines. Hilderthorpe is within the council area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
