High Bentham, Yorkshire

High Bentham is a town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The town lies on the River Wenning and on the northern edge of the Forest of Bowland. A market was granted to High Bentham in the 14th century, and it became a centre for weaving from the 18th century. The town is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
