Heswall, Cheshire
Heswall is a town in Cheshire, on the Wirral peninsula. Heswall was recorded in the Domesday as Eswelle. The village developed into a town following the arrival of the railways in 1896. The remains of Gayton's windmill, which stopped operating in 1860 can be seen close to Gayton Roundabout. The town is within the council area of Wirral.
