Heston, Middlesex
Heston is a large suburban village in Middlesex. Heston has been settled since Saxon times and remained a rural village into the 20th century. Following the completion of the Great North Road (1925) much of the land around the village was developed for industry and housing and Heston grew to become a large suburban area. The M4 effectively now forms the northern extent of Heston. St Leonard's Church dates from the 14th century. It is within the council area of Hounslow.
