Hessle, Yorkshire
Hessle is a port town in Yorkshire, in the East Riding. It lies on the north bank of the Humber where the Humber Bridge crosses from Lincolnshire. Hessle is at the start of the Yorkshire Wolds Way, a long-distance footpath which crosses the Yorkshire Wolds and ends at Filey. The Hessle Feast is a celebration held every Whitsuntide. The town is within the council area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
