Heskin Hall, Lancashire
Heskin Hall is a Tudor manor house near Heskin Green, Lancashire. Construction began on the present hall in 1545 and in 1556 the estate was bought by Richard Molyneux, and remained the home of the Molyneux family until 1739. Subsequently owned by the Mawdesley, Kershaw and Rawcliffe families. Lord and Lady Lilford were the last people to occupy the house. It was later occupied by Blackburn College as a training centre. The hall is set in eight acres of grounds and surrounded by over 300 acres of farmland. It has hosted weddings and been the home of numerous independent traders for over 25 years including antique & vintage dealers. It is within the council area of Chorley (Lancashire).
