Hender Barrow, Devon
Hender Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow close to the A3079 near Halwill Junction, Devon. It is situated on an upland ridge overlooking the valley of a tributary to the River Wolf. It is one of a dispersed group lying along this ridge. The barrow survives as a circular mound which measures about 80ft in diameter and up to 5ft high. It is within the council area of Torridge (Devon).
