Henbury Barrow, Dorset
Henbury Barrow is a prehistoric bowl barrow near Henbury, Dorset. It is situated on gently sloping ground overlooking the Stour Valley to the north. The barrow has a mound composed of earth, flint and chalk, with maximum dimensions of 50ft in diameter and about 4ft in height. The mound is surrounded by a ditch from which material was quarried during the construction of the monument. It is within the council area of Dorset.
