Henbury, Gloucestershire
Henbury is a village in Gloucestershire. It is listed in Domesday as 'Henberie'. The village lies to the north of Bristol, of which it is sometimes considered an outer suburb. The current church of St Mary the Virgin dates from the 13th century, though there may have been a church on the site as far back as the 7th century. Henbury Village Hall was built in 1830 in a Tudor Revival style by Thomas Rickman. The village is within the council area of Bristol.
