Helmsley, Yorkshire
Helmsley is a market town in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. It is one the River Rye and It stands at the point where the valleys of Bilsdale and Ryedale leave the moorland and join the Vale of Pickering. The ruins of the medæval Helmsley Castle tower over the town. The town is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
