Hedgeley Moor, Northumberland

Hedgeley Moor is a battlefield site near Glanton in Northumberland. The Battle of Hedgeley Moor (25 April 1464) was fought between a Yorkist army led by John Neville, Lord Montagu and a Lancastrian army led by Henry Beaufort, Duke of Somerset. The battle ended in a Yorkist victory. The battlefield site is within the council area of Northumberland.
