Hatton, Middlesex
Hatton is a village in Middlesex. The village remained entirely rural into the 20th century. It now lies on the south-eastern edge of Heathrow Airport with the remaining housing surrounded by industrial units and distribution centres. The area was for many decades a notorious place for highway robberies and its surviving old inn, The Green Man has a hiding-hole behind the chimney. The village is within the council area of Hounslow.
