Hatch Furlong is the site of a series of Roman deep wells or pits, containing pottery, coins and the remains of many cats and dogs, situated near Ewell, Surrey. Pottery with images of deer, dogs and hares have been uncovered, which suggests the shafts were built for sacrificial purposes. The site is within the council area of Epsom and Ewell (Surrey).
