Haslingden, Lancashire
Haslingden is a town in Lancashire. Haslingden became a market town in 1676 and later a coaching station. The Industrial Revolution transformed it into a centre of industrial weaving. The town centre is home to the famous Big Lamp originally erected in 1841 and from where all distances in Haslingden are measured. The town is within the council area of Rossendale (Lancashire).
