Harvills Hawthorn, Staffordshire

Harvills Hawthorn is an urban area in the north-west of West Bromwich, Staffordshire. The area along the road from Hill Top to Golds Green had become inhabited by the mid 18th century and was then known as Harvills Oak. By the mid 19th century the area had become industrialised and known as Harvills Hawthorn. There was large-scale housing development after the Second World War. It is within the council area of Sandwell.
