Hartshill, Warwickshire
Hartshill is a village in Warwickshire. The village is now contiguous Nuneaton’s outer suburbs. It is famous as the birthplace of poet Michael Drayton (1563-1631). His most famous work is The Bataile of Agincourt, an epic patriotic poem which has lately inspired a number of county flags. A school bears his name. The village is within the council area of North Warwickshire (Warwickshire).
