Hartshill, Staffordshire
Hartshill (or Harts Hill) is a historic township that is now a suburb of Stoke-upon-Trent. The area was a Norman deer park which later became a landed estate. Harthill Park comprises the remains of the deer park. Hartshill was developed as a residential suburb of Stoke-upon-Trent in the 19th century by pottery manufacturer Herbert Minton and his sons. Hartshill is within the council area of Stoke-on-Trent.
