Harmondsworth, Middlesex

Harmondsworth is a village in Middlesex. Harmondsworth Great Barn it was put up between 1425 and 1427 and is the largest extant timber-framed building in England, described by John Betjeman as the "Cathedral of Middlesex". The church of St Mary dates from the 12th century. The village is now close to the northern perimeter of Heathrow Airport. The village is within the council area of Hillingdon.
