Harleyford Manor, Buckinghamshire

Harleyford Manor is a country house near Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The Harleyford Estate dates to the 12th century. The house was designed by Sir Robert Taylor in the Georgian style and built for William Clayton MP in 1753. Clayton had bought the estate in 1736 and the house remained in the Clayton family until 1950. The manor is now the centre of a private residential and leisure estate with a marina, golf course, and luxury lodges. The extensive grounds feature landscaped parkland, which may have been influenced by landscape architect Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. Several Grade II listed structures are also on the grounds, including an ice house, a dairy, and an octagonal temple. It is within the council area of Buckinghamshire.
