Harewood Castle, Yorkshire

Harewood Castle is a ruined 14th-century tower house located on the Harewood Estate, Harewood, Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The castle was built by Sir William de Aldeburgh around 1366. Though last occupied in the 1630s, the tower remains a LOCAL landmark, visible on its steep slope for miles around. It is within the council area of Leeds.
