Harborough, Market, Leicestershire / Northamptonshire
Market Harborough is a market town on the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire border. The River Welland, which forms the county border, passes through the middle of the modern town. While the historic heart of the town is within Leicestershire, around half of the town's modern area is in Northamptonshire. The Old Grammar School is an unusual former grammar school in the town centre which stands on wooden stilts. The Church of England parish church is dedicated to Saint Dionysius, and is of a broach spire construction and dates back to the 14th century. The town is within the council area of Harborough (Leicestershire).
