Hanging Stone, Yorkshire

The Hanging Stone (aka Water Sheddles Cross) is an ancient millstone grit boundary stone on Kiln Hill, marking the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire (West Riding). Carved on the top is a projecting cross and on one side is carved 'Hanging stone or Water Sheddles Cross'. It is within the council area of Bradford.
Historic England Grade II Listed 1313972.
