Hanging Langford Camp, Wiltshire
Hanging Langford Camp is an Iron Age/Romano British settlement, on the upper north facing slopes of West Hill above the Wylye Valley in Wiltshire. The camp is composed of a series of banks and ditches, which suggest they acted as boundaries rather than defences, and which probably enclosed the settlement for most of its lifetime. The settlement is linked by a ditch to a 'banjo' type enclosure lying below it, known asChurch-end Ring. The monument is within the council area of Wiltshire.
