Handsworth Old Town Hall, Staffordshire
Handsworth Old Town Hall is a 15th-century building in Handsworth, Staffordshire. It was built using cruck-framed construction techniques and was completed about 1460. From the early 17th-century it accommodated the Overseer of the Parish and became known as the Town Hall. It was also used as courthouse. Following the formation of an urban sanitary authority in Handsworth in 1874 and the opening of the Council House on Soho Road, the Old Town Hall ceased to be used for administration. It is within the council area of Birmingham.
