Hampton Lucy, Warwickshire
Hampton Lucy is a village in Warwickshire, on the River Avon. The grammar school (now closed) was founded and endowed by the Rev. Richard Hill, curate of Hampton Lucy, in the 11th year of the reign of Charles I. The village is the birthplace of the embryologist Sir Ian Wilmut. The village is within the council area of Stratford-on-Avon (Warwickshire).
