Hamiltonsbawn, Armagh

Hamiltonsbawn (aka Hamilton's Bawn) is a village in County Armagh. It is within the townlands of Mullaghbane, Hamiltonsbawn and Johnstown, in the civil parish of Mullaghbrack. The village takes its name from a Bawn or fortified mansion built in 1619 by John Hamilton of East Lothian, the ruins of which can be viewed south of the village. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
