Hall Green, Worcestershire

Hall Green is a former hamlet that is now a large suburban area, south of Sparkhill and Acock's Green in Worcestershire. It forms a southern suburb of Birmingham. It remained a rural area until the inter-war period when large numbers of private and municipal houses were built. The Church of the Ascension (1704) was designed by Sir William Wilson in Queen Anne style and built in brick with stone dressings. The area is within the council area of Birmingham.
