Hackthorn Hall, Lincolnshire

Hackthorn Hall is a historic house in Hackthorn, Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey. The estate's history dates back to 1539 and the current building is a large, square brick house rebuilt in the late 18th century. It has been the seat of the Cracroft family since 1618. It is a large, square brick house surrounded by formal gardens and a landscaped park. The grounds cover an area of 44 hectares and were landscaped during the late 18th century. The gardens cover 15 acres and there is also a 400-year-old walled garden with a glasshouse that houses Britain's second oldest grapevine. Hackthorn Hall is primarily a wedding venue and also hosts private parties, corporate events, and has an outdoor venue area. The gardens are open to the public three times a year. It is within the council area of West Lindsey (Lincolnshire).
